Dates:  Late May – June 30, 2020

After confirmation of completed enrollment, CEC will notify parents/guardians via email on when and how to sign up for placement testing.

English and math assessment testing helps all students start with the right foundation!  Placement tests are designed to assist with the accurate placement of students into classes that appropriately match their skill level.

We ask all students to arrive 10 minutes prior to testing times.  Results will be available after testing and students will be allowed to leave once their testing is complete.  All materials will be provided by CEC.  No one passes or fails the placement tests, but it’s important to complete the test using your best effort, so we have an accurate measure of your academic skills.

Middle School

6th–8th grade students will take the MAP tests for English and math assessment. MAP testing is a computerized, online, untimed, adaptive test, taking about 1 hour per content area.
